Hi! I’m Alex, an illustrator and designer from Surrey, England with a BA in Visual Communication.  A traditionalist at heart, I enjoy a more hands-on, analogue practice that reflects the inherent qualities of the materials I use and my own artistic handwriting.  I move between character-based and general illustration – always playful and free flowing with an affinity for line and simplicity. When I’m not designing, you’ll find me walking, heading into London (or away from it to the coast!), enjoying live music or printing with my tabletop letterpress, ‘Olive’.
